He is Faithful

It’s been a busy few weeks since we’ve returned to Mississippi; Meg has started back to teaching, I am back to classes and working at the seminary and at church, and Tim is spending 4 days a week with the Gentrys (dear friends who are headed to Mexico with OMS) and ½ a day with our friend Fran Ray.

Since we’ve been home we’ve also ordered our table display and our prayer cards.
For some reason, these two acts have made the reality that we are coming up to the end of our time in Mississippi and beginning the transition to full-time support raising in preparation for Uganda. It’s a bit of a staggering realization. For so long we have been preparing for this time and looking forward to it, and now it is finally here.

As you can probably imagine, I’ve been pretty reflective. As I look back over these last 3-4 years I’m amazed at God’s faithfulness to us and His provision for us. God has made a way for us every step of the road. Having seen His faithful provision over the years has made it so much easier to trust Him as we make this next step on the road, knowing that He will continue to provide for us because we are exactly where He has called us to be.

While it will be difficult to leave the support structures that we have established in our lives, it’s a little easier knowing that God is already raising up a support team of people like you. Thank you for joining us on the road to Uganda and being a part of our team. We cannot and dare not go without you holding us in your hearts and prayers.
