This Little Light of Mine

Our family has started singing "This Little Light of Mine" each night before bed. It has become a special thing for each of us. Here is how we sing it. Read through and let God speak to you.

This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine.
This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine.
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.

Hide it under a bushel, NO! I'm gonna let it shine.
Hide it under a bushel, NO! I'm gonna let it shine.
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.

Don't let Satan blow it out. I'm gonna let it shine.
Don't let Satan blow it out. I'm gonna let it shine.
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.

Shine all over Congo, I'm gonna let it shine.
Shine all over Uganda, I'm gonna let it shine.
(Each night different places are said by our boys, generally includes America, South Sudan, Kampala, Jinja, Arua or any other place we have talked about recently)
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.

Shine until Jesus comes, I'm gonna let it shine.
Shine until Jesus comes, I'm gonna let it shine.
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.

This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine.
This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine.
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.

So we are trying to let our light shine even when it is not well received and we want to hide. We are trying to let our light shine even when Satan is blowing. We are trying to let our light shine in every place we can reach. And we will let our light shine until Jesus comes. Not by our strength, but by God's strength. We will keep shining and keep living for Jesus.
